J&M Davidson’s respected design heritage dates back to 1984 when the photographer and designer duo John and Monique Davidson founded the company with a single leather belt. This legendary item soon inspired a full collection and—along with John’s quintessential British eclectic sensibility and Monique’s French insouciance—continues to be echoed in designs today.
Today, the company has many points of sale globally, including flagship stores on London’s prestigious Mount Street in Mayfair, and in Tokyo’s Aoyama District.
Revered design consultant Katie Hillier was named creative director of J&M Davidson in Autumn 2018. She brings her leading vision and design expertise to the bags, ready-to-wear and accessories, working with her team of collaborators across every area of the company, including photographer Hugo Scott, artist Jeff West, art director Jamie Reed, product and space designer Tina Vaia, and a young design team based in London. Her first collection—Autumn Winter 2019—will be available instore and online from June 2019. .
